Observation: SpaceX Starbase First Integrated Flight Test, Starship Ship 24 and Super Heavy Booster 7 launched from the Starbase Rocket Test and Launch Complex in Boca Chica, Texas, on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday April 20, 2023. By successfully lifting off and clearing the Orbital Launch Tower, the first Starship First Integrated Flight Test was a success. Although Starbase Mission Control used the Flight Termination Systems explosive systems on Starship Ship 24 and Super Heavy Booster 7 to blow them to smithereens, this first Starship flight test was a success, with many more to come over the next decade, leading up to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Crew Starship human space exploration certification.
