Of equal importance are longer articles, more in-depth missives on topics that range from music theory explorations, to software development discussions, abstract philosophical viewpoints, and more. Additional short article types include notes about videos viewed on Youtube. There is also a category of brief articles about the development of this website, which is built on the Drupal 10 digital experience platform (DXP) website development engine. In additional this website contains numerous articles on a variety of personal interest and activity topics such as nutrition, fitness, alpine skiing, and so on.
From a technical perspective, the graphically presented timeline listing below is implemented using the open-source simple timeline library written by Wylie Hobbs. Wylie Hobbs implemented this timeline view in the PHP programming language. There are, however, numerous other open-source timeline visualization libraries available on the internet that implement timelines with a variety of styling and presentation features. Some of the available open-source timeline libraries include the: squarechip timeline (javascript), jquery dynamic animated timeline slider (JavaScript); and various others.
