Marilyn Perry's Observations On The United States Southern Border Crisis

Consternating concerns is a phrase that likely describes reasonable reactions to observing the crisis at America's southern border. Frankly, it seems as though any reasonable U.S. citizen understands that America's southern border crisis is an unapologetically and seemingly unashamed consequence of the hypocritical policies established in 2021 by America's current federal executive administration.

At a time when many Americans are arguing about the United States, as some Americans quibble about whether or not America is "great", or possibly even qualifies for some other adjective, it seems that several rather obvious observations have gone missing among the related controversies. The observation that seems missing from these controversies about America is that people who have lived in other parts of the world still seem to consider the United States to be a wonderful place, a fantastic place, a "great" place. Part of what can be observed throughout the past few years at the U.S. southern border is that thousands, millions actually, of people from other countries have been willing to walk, yes to walk, thousands of miles, in the mere, and possibly vain, hope, of trying to get into the United States of America, to live in the United States, likely the only true Constitutional Republic on earth.

The people clamoring to get into the U.S. at America's southern border don't appear to be concerned about possibly disliking the current U.S. President, any United States President, past, present, or yet to take office. The people clamoring at the U.S. southern border trying desperately to get into the United States, don't seem to mind that they might be tear-gassed by U.S. federal border police as they try desperately to scale the border fences and "walls" that already exist along the border between the United States and Mexico.

While fake news corporate mass media appears concerned with all manner of other likely irrelevant details, it seems to be an established fact that the United States is a place that people from all over other parts of our planet earth find attractive enough to give up their existing lives entirely, to completely discard their lives elsewhere, and all their physical belongings, to try to enter and live in the esteemed sovereign nation called the United States of America. Thousands of people each day from other countries, hope to start over and to try to create a new, hopefully, American, life, in these United States of America, if only they can get in and stay in this highly acclaimed country. Why has this clearly essentially important observation about how the rest of the world perceives the United States of America, a place once fabled to have "streets paved with gold", gone missing from the current crises, controversies, and debates, about America's southern border?
